When the Primera Casa is activated
as a shelter, the American Red Cross will provide shelter
support (food, first aid, etc.) for FIU personnel - Essential
Emergency Workers - located on the 5th floor. There is very
limited open/accessible space on the 5th Floor.

Note that although occupants will
not be required to register at the Red Cross registration
table, it will be necessary for the EMCOP Coordinator to provide
a list of names at the time the shelter opens. It is also
be necessary all FIU employees display or have their FIU ID
readily available. EH&S will posts signs on the 5th floor
and make other appropriate identification available so FIU
employees and their family members will be readily identifiable.
